Description: Wintergreen offers a cool and refreshing delightfully distinct aroma. It can be found in
many muscle rub products because of its topically analgesic activity. Note: wintergreen essential oil must
be used sparingly, due to its very high methyl salicylate content.

Blends Nicely With: Clove, eucalyptus, vanilla, peppermint, rosemary, spearmint, lavender, cedarwood,
juniper berry, black pepper, and myrrh.
Safety: Dilute to 2% or greater to avoid skin irritation. Avoid with pregnant women, children under 12
years, and with multiple medical conditions. There are various possible drug interactions. Also note,
wintergreen can inhibit blood clotting, with its aspirin-like component of methyl salicylate.
